TN5250j will run as an applet within a browser which is a little bit different than iSeries Access for Web, which is a web server based application. An applet will have to be downloaded by each PC user and a JVM will have to be present (or it will be downloaded for you). That tends to be a support hassle but is only a one time thing.
iAW has many administration capabilities as well. The closest I came to mimicking that with tn5250j is the web5250 project I started (but never finished) about 4 years ago. You can find that open source project here: http://www.web5250.com
