That's the part I was missing... the ISO create from the physical CD.
Must have been a brain dead Friday evening - When I went into Roxio this
morning, I found I had a project "IBMPTF" from the last time I did this.

Last I recall, you have to put the CDs into the iSeries and build up a
list
of them into images.
Electronic alternative that you're talking about is available if images
are
.iso extensions (I think that's what those .bin files are from IBM).

BTW, if you have CD burning software on your PC like Roxio, you can
transform the physical CDs into .iso images on your hard drive or IFS.

that you could copy the CD's from a PC to the IFS and then use that to
ADDIMGCLGE. I've searched the IBM site but can't find the steps to copy
the CD to the IFS. Lots of hits on downloading BIN files but nothing
about transferring media.
It'll save me many trips back and forth to the computer room. I have a
cume and many groups.
