Subject: RE: how to tell if website hosted on iseries is down
I am instituting a 2 step approach:
1. Have a program on the iseries check if the server is up (Scotts
Http), if not, send an email and try to start it.
2. On a stand alone computer I have a vb program that does the same.
This way I feel I cover all bases.
Thanks again.
