Ah, but the SQL -can- update/delete records.
What I tend to do is do one F18=SQL and "SELECT" using the criteria I believe I need. Then when I'm -really- sure my selection criteria is good I turn around and do another F18=SQL but this time choosing either "UPDATE" or "DELETE" and then make sure I select using the proven selction criteria.
