I actually upgraded to two 22" monitors for awhile, but believe it or notI have the same issue: too *much* physical real estate causes problems. The 24" monitor (I got an HP LP2465 on a screaming deal for $399 a while back) pretty much takes up my entire peripheral vision. Any more and I turn into a bobble-head. And 1900x1200 is really a whole lot of space; it's equivalent in pixels to nearly two monitors running at 1280x1024.
that made my neck sore because I was going back and forth so often across
almost four feet of monitor - crazy :-) I think I will try it again but
take a different approach in how I use the two 22" monitors and put the
lesser used apps on the monitor that isn't right in front of me.
