I can't speak with the same technical authority as Charles, but the
possibility of the sessions somehow "sharing" SQL sessions seems remote
to me.


As I recall the logic, STRSQL uses an object that is specific only to the
user ID (regardless of session or device name) *provided* you only have it
active on a single session at a time. So if you never have it open more
than once, your session history will follow you from device to device until
the fateful day you open STRSQL in multiple sessions at the same time.

As soon as you do that, the history becomes specific to the device and even
if you only have one open at a time in the future, you only see history from
that device.

At least, I think that is the way it was once described on these lists.
