   We are using abstract, which so far is fantastic.....our change control
   software is also tied in with abstract and it uses that information to
   know which objects to include in a distribution set.......pretty nice.....

   I have no idea whatsoever what the cost is, I just know I love it.

   Yes.  Start journalling everything that goes on with this file.  Leave
   that on for a year or so to catch special end of year processing that may
   only be run once a year.

   Or, look at DSPPGMREF and see if that helps.  There are "APIs" in
   Infocenter that may help you with this process.

   Now some things may hide under the horizon.  Like
   eval SqlStmt='select * from ' + FileName + ' where doodad=1';
   exec sql prepare s1 from :SqlStmt;
   ...
   Or you can buy a tool like Hawkeye to do this for you.  But the "Under the
   horizon" applies to them also.

   Hello all! I have a file on my system and I would like to know what
   programs
   use this file. Is there a way to accomplish this with a basic OS/400 tool?
