It might. Or not. Assuming the triggering was activated using our usual CL program for that purpose, it was set to *NO.

And I'm not at all clear on what that parameter does for AFTER triggers, anyway, and neither the docs nor the helptext seem to say much about it.

As I said in my response to Charles Wilt's comments, the trigger is used for script-directed side effects, and is shared by multiple files. Recursion generally occurs when a change to one triggered file is scripted to create a record in another triggered file.
