On v5r4, you can have it put additional rows on to the next worksheet. If
that would be helpful then select BIFF8 as the file type and hit the Details
button.

Or, there is a file type called 'MS Excel XML Spreadsheet' - I wonder if
this is the Excel 2007 file format.
