Try to create a new lpar from scratch. After you install LIC and you go to install LPP you'll find out that PASE is now one of those programs they assume you want and initially put a 1 in front of it to install. (At least in V6R1.) They don't even do that for TCP/IP. What's really a hoot is I think they assume you want 5761DG1 (http server). Now, how many people you know running http without TCP/IP?
