I want to have a new DDS. I am not interested in joining the data. By the way, this 3rd file will be empty (a workfile). It needs to be created on the fly during the execution of the CLP and at the end, I will delete the file. I do not want to create an official DDS for this 3rd file.

Might you be better off just executing an embedded SQL "CREATE TABLE" statement? It's a really easy way to create a table on the fly, including in QTEMP. Or even a RUNSQLSTM, although that involves having a text member with the CREATE TABLE statement, which is roughly equivalent to DDS source.
