And there were those who predicted something similar 20 years ago and
some even before the system was even created.

Eventually Microsoft will not be the largest operating system software
provider (by number of licenses).  Eventually I will be correct.  I'll
probably be dead and buried but I will probably be proven
correct.....somebody send me an AttaBoy when it happens.

COMMON will likely morph towards a Power Systems emphasis, including IBM
i
and AIX. Just because there are new AIX sessions does not mean this is a
move AWAY from IBM i. It simply means COMMON will get bigger to
accommodate
the ~new~ AIX world added to the IBM i that we know.

We already know you are personally affected by having your iWorld fall
down
around you. Does that mean we will always get doom and gloom from you
for
the rest of us who remain strongly i? Regardless of what IBM does, you
could
still promote IBM I with a more positive approach?

Crying does not help. Saying "I told you so" when you told us something
else
does not help. Doom and gloom does not help.
