Similar to what Scott said, this has been a problem for some
time, yet the
IBM i survives.
Of course, we can complain about global services, too. But none of our
complaining restores the former glory of the AS/400 to IBM i.
How about some talk on public forums (outside of midrange-L) about how
amazing the IBM i is for business? Let's stir up some noise
about IBM i.
Stop mentioning the AS/400, which apparently, as Mark points
out, that makes
people think it is old!
We live in a new world. If people can't adapt, then at least
they should
have the courtesy to stop whining.
