And I can take a .bat file written for DOS 1.1 and run it on Vista. Big

deal.
But I can't take a program written for V4R5 of OS/400 and run it on i
6.1.

This is where people start throwing in all the "but if you do this and
that or whatever else tips the scales in my favor" arguments.
