Dave,

The following two program samples demonstrate one method for passing
multiple parameters from a CL program to another program.  In this case the
second program is also a CL program but it could be any type of program
(RPG, COBOL, C, etc).

PROG1

  PGM

  DCL VAR(&A) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10)
  DCL VAR(&B) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10)
  DCL VAR(&C) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(20)

  CALL PROG2 PARM(&A &B)
 
  CHGVAR VAR( %SST(&C 1 10) ) VALUE(&B)
  CHGVAR VAR( %SST(&C 11 10) ) VALUE(&A)

  /*  Do something with &C) */

  ENDPGM

PROG2

  PGM PARM(&L &O)

  DCL VAR(&L) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10)
  DCL VAR(&O) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10)

   How can I call CL program #2 (PROG2), passing parms to it which are
   updated in PROG2, and return the updated values back to the calling
