In our shop we have a default printer device which isn't really attached to a printer. I'm probably getting the same garbage that you are, but it just goes to that out queue/printer and waits for me to whack it.

Subject: Java messages from QYIVRIPS - How to keep them off the printer.
This has been an ongoing problem, and IBM seems as confused as I am about
it.
We get a list of java messages almost every day (if not many times a day)
that print out totally unuseable information (at least by me). I would like
to send them to a queue that doesn't print - but print they do.
SOMETIMES I get a cover sheet which says:
  Job name QYIVRIPS
User name DBT_QSEC (my batch only *ALLOBJ profile
  Job number 707084
  Date 11/19/08
  Time 10:15:28
  File name QPRINT
  File number 000001
  Creation date 11/19/08
  Creation time 10:21:19
  Copy number 001
That's the only "english" information it gives me...
I spoz I can type out some of the java stuff that I get, but I'll wait until
somebody who has an idea about this stuff request it....
Any ideas?
TIA,
Dave
