As others have said, JOB(*) will work the best, or, you can do the RTVJOBA
stuff (just as a learning tool).
But ideally, avoid using CPYSPLF like the plague. IBM has been known to
change the format of spool files around on a whim. Be bad if an upgrade
or ptf hosed you down. Use the API's. A good reference to APIs is to

See QUSRJOBL and QUSRJOBI. Google had 781 hits for QUSRJOBI EXAMPLE. You
use QUSRJOBL to pass parms to QUSRJOBI.
