Pete,
I am using PuTTY and found a setting in the configuration
(Connection-->Data) that allows me to change the xterm to vt100.
However, no joy.
It appears that terminfo entries in PASE are stored in
/qopensys/usr/share/lib Here's what I have in that directory:
 > find /qopensys/usr/share/lib/terminfo
   /qopensys/usr/share/lib/terminfo
   /qopensys/usr/share/lib/terminfo/a
   /qopensys/usr/share/lib/terminfo/a/aixterm
   /qopensys/usr/share/lib/terminfo/x
   /qopensys/usr/share/lib/terminfo/x/xterm
Furthermore, it appears that the aixterm and xterm entries are symbolic
links to matching files in the
/qopensys/QIBM/ProdData/OS400/PASE/terminfo directory. So
/qopensys/usr/share/lib/terminfo/x/xterm is linked to
/qopensys/QIBM/ProdData/OS400/PASE/terminfo/xterm
My system also appears to have a 'tic' utility that can be used to add
more terminfo entries if I need to.
