Boss was reading this story at
http://www.itjungle.com/fhs/fhs120208-story01.html
about IBM unveiling "Rational Team Concert for i". He was wondering if we
should replace our existing change management for this. Having JUST
replaced our existing change management software once I am not overly
anxious. (Slapping my hand to not go off on a tangent.)
Pros: Probably a tool that is 100% based around RDi. This may help beat
the remaining SEU dinosaurs into RDi. Also, I am finding out that tools
that straddle the fence are often more robust in 5250 land and developers
that do use RDi often start using SEU just to not alternate between 5250
and RDi.
Do any of you have enough familiarity with the product to begin forming an
opinion?
