If you can bring the file up in Excel, you can use the add-in for
Excel to write the file to the i5. It doesn't use the column headings
on Row 1, but fudges its own names, which you can override/define as
you create the download. Don't remember if you can save this
transfer, or not; I've only used it for ad hoc stuff.
This does not create DDS, but the file will be externally defined.
You can use iNav to generate DDL from there.

Subject: Create dds from fdf
I have a csv file with a lot of fields in it that I would like to got onto an
i5. I can bring up the file in Excel and create an FDF with the field names.
Does anyone know of a program on the i5 that will convert an FDF file to DDS.
I don't have the file created on the i5. Client Access won't create the file
on the i5 from Excel
Thank you,
Gary Kuznitz
