Steve,
Try using CPYTOIMPF or CPYTOSTMF instead of CPYTOPCD.

subject: Amending a File in the IFS

Hi

I am using the following command to copy a file to the IFS
and then email it out from the iSeries

CPYTOPCD FROMFILE(CURQUERY/PURCHEDI5) TOFLR(STEVE) +
TODOC(EDI.TXT) REPLACE(*YES) TRNTBL(*DFT) +
TRNFMT(*TEXT)

However the file copied to the IFS contain a character
at the end of the file but on at the beginning of the next line

Is there a way I can remove this character ?

Regards
