I just purchased an Aspire One netbook last week. I immediately loaded
the Win 7 beta on it just to see if it would work. It works
surprisingly well. I was able to load iSeries Access on it and it runs
great also.
Definitely not the solution for intense coding sessions as that 8.1 inch
screen is a tad small, but for some quick work from the living room
couch, it's very convenient.

I would agree. NetBooks are for the poeple that "live in the
cloud" ( aka live online). They might also work for a wireless 5250
terminal. However you can get a "real" laptop for just a bit more and
have a bigger screen and more horsepower.
