Bob,

I haven't loaded the Win7 Beta yet but my son has been running it for a 
week or so on his Lenovo notebook and has found it to be surprisingly 
stable as well.

Thanks for trying out iSeries Access on it.  I was going to have my son 
load it to see how it performed.  I guess I'll have him try the Rational 
tools.  Better to have someone else experience the pain (if there is any).
