Since I don't know how you are copying,

We do this all the time but we use FTP in binary mode.

I have 2 servers. Both have V5R4, and I have created an identical
virtual
tape on both. The catalog entries are correct and both can be viewed
with
DSPTAP.

When I copy the STMF image from one to the other, the destination is
unreadable. Has anyone does this successfully, and how?
