Bill,

If you are looking for an inexpensive approach that is not
overkill for your application, we have a utility called
SpoolFlex that runs on your Power System (IBM i, System i,
iSeries. AS/400) that will convert documents to PDF and
email without any additional hardware.

For faxing it interfaces to internet fax services (like
Metrofax or Efax) by emailing the attachment to the fax
service and handing them the fax number, and the service
sends the fax, so you can fax without any additional phone
lines, fax modem or any expensive start up costs.

If you would like to discuss further or test it out on your
system, we will be happy to discuss with you offline.

Subject: Fax Software

I'm looking for a fax solution that works off of codes
embedded into the
document to be faxed/emailed. Most solutions have way more
capability
than I need. At this time, I'm only sending faxes and
emails;
approximately 100 per day. I don't need integration into
Outlook or
anything like that.

I'm currently working on an MRS/DocGate solution that is on
its last
legs and would like to know if there's a newer solution
available.
