OK - one last try.
I didn't intend to say, infer, imply, suggest or in in other way mean
that.
I _do_ believe that the vast majority of shops who are likely to "move
forward" have already done so - or certainly will have done so in the
three years that realistically it would take before any significant
%age of the community has such an ability available to them.
I repeat what I said before, since CGI is stateless and 5250 isn't,
I'm far from convinced that those RPGers who haven't already embraced
the web would like/use what they were given even if IBM miraculously
produced a native GUI overnight.
I would be thrilled to be proved wrong - but I'm not going to hold my
breath waiting for IBM. I'm going to continue to exploit
technologies like CGIDEV2, PHP, tools like Look, and anything new that
comes out the Danish project among others.
