Albert,
I had thought you might be able to use TRACEROUTE with output to *DTAQ,
but I can't seem to see my default route showing up in the output... It
might be due to the way our networks are configured, but it did not work
for me... Still, perhaps you might find something I didn't... It does
seem to allow you to specify the interface you want to start from....
Oops, I realized, right before I sent that DFTROUTE doesn't come into
play for the hosts I was using. All were on the same subnet....
YMMV,
Eric DeLong

Subject: Retrieve interface and next hop
Is there a way to retrieve the I/P address of a TCP/IP interface and the
address of the next hop of a route into a C/L program?
Thanks,
Albert
