When John wrote "SQL 2005" I thought he was referring to a version of the 
SQL specification, not a Microsoft product.  It wasn't until follow up 
email started talking about Microsoft SQL that I realized John's original 
email was not asking about a language specification.

So like Vern asks, let's not refer to MSSQL as simply "SQL".
