Not everyone's friend. While this list doesn't give me many concerns, I
like to see where a link is going to direct me. It's more than possible
to create a tinyurl.com that casts a vote on a website you have no
interest in supporting, and you'll only find out after you've gone there
blindly.

I won't trust a tinyurl unless I also trust the person sending it to me.
