In the current case, I'd have a hard time trying to justify using 
CPYTOIMPF to get a field out of a table where the field has already 
had essentially everything done to it that CPYTOIMPF is expected to 
do. To me, that doesn't seem to be the "intended purpose".

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the current case.
