Have fun with that. You may find that it's more efficient to bypass the
DB2 intermediate file and go straight from the original DB2 file(s) to the
stream file. The only drawback is that more than one person may have to
learn how to write to stream files. Which I don't consider a drawback but
I do know people whose goal is to retire before they ever have to use a
subprocedure.
