Subject: Connecting to an IFS share with Windows XP
I've checked the archives, and not found that answer I need. I am trying to
connect to an IFS share I created through my iSeries Navigator. My Windows
UserID and Password match my i/OS UserID and Password. When trying to
connect to the i as a file server, I get the "Connect to" window asking for
User name and password. Something is not passing to the i/OS the correct
information to automaticly take the security information.
When I key the QSECOFR userID and password, It will connect. When I key my
userID and password, it reprompts, putting the domain_name\userID in the
username field. Nothing I have tried will cause my userID to connect to the
i.
Any thoughts where to look for an answer?
