There's a lot to be said for keeping the IBM versions sacrosanct.
1 - If you're like the one recent poster whose system was locked up and
could only change system values in DST you may appreciate being able to
fall back on a known value.
2 - A new version may come out with a new version of QSTRUP. Like
shuffling around what order to start tcp in and what not. Using your own
insulates you from the change and also allows you to compare their new
version with yours so that you can see if you want to incorporate any of
the mods.
