You may want to look at the differences between autostart job entries
and prestart job entries.

While prestart job entries are normally for server type jobs,
QZDASOINIT for instance. They can be handy for programs you only need
1 copy of; because for instance if a prestart job is cancelled, the
system starts a new one.

There's a nice article somewhere that compares the two.
