I'd like to be able to have the column names as something other than the
field names in the data structure.

Just like in SQL where you can use the "AS" statement. i.e.

Select a as A_More_Descriptive_Name , b as Verbose_Text from AFile

To pre-empt questions about changing the names of the fields in the array,
it is a Synon generated array so I'd like to override the names to something
more meaningful

What do you mean by override? The column name will be the name of the field
as described in the data structure

Anybody know of a way to override the Result set column name generated by
the following:

SET RESULT SETS ARRAY :X FOR :Y ROWS

Where is X is a multi occurrence data structure.

Thanks
