My gut call is that Rob is correct....

However, I know for example that MPG's Performance Navigator product
when graphing usage against CPW treats them the same.  In other words,
the CPU% graph shows the same picture that the CPW graph does just
with different labeling as far as I can tell.

Also, for example with the small 520 boxes for instance, they have a
CPW of something like 3800.  However, they can't support enough disk
to use all of that for a "normal" OLTP type workload.  So to me, that
seems to indicate that CPW == CPU processing power available for the
most part.

Then again, I'm looking at MPG's tool an an 810.  Perhaps there'd be
differences between the CPU% and CPW graphs on a system limited by
DASD.
