That was helpful....logs in fine; generates report...but now I can't get
the Impromptu macro to close down and exit Impromptu....my bat file
simply hangs
Until I manually shut down Impromptu. Any other helpful hints?

Not sure if this will help but what if you were to turn off the Catalog
Login dialog in the Impromptu.ini file?

Here is the information:

Always show catalog logon dialog=<setting>

Defa Always show catalog logon dialog=1

ult

Desc Determines whether the Catalog Login dialog box appears when

ript Access Manager can provide all the required logon

ion information.

To Use the Always Show this Dialog check box in the Catalog
Logon
chan dialog box or the Always Show Catalog Logon Dialog check box

ge in the Options dialog box.

Folks -

I'm trying to set up a monthly report to run automatically. I've
written a macro which successfully opens the correct catalog [with ids &
passwords, etc.] and runs the report. The macro runs fine from within
Impromptu; however, when I try and run it using the command line option
[IPADMIN.EXE -m mymacro.mac] from a bat file, Impromptu asks me for my
login information.

Is there a way to accomplish an auto-login to Impromptu? [our Impromptu
scheduler function is not
available]

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.
