One point on the below: AIX. First of all, IBM is firmly behind the unification of the platform, so this is a high priority for them. Aligning with IBM makes their support much easier, albeit it is not what it once was just because of budgets.

More importantly, this is a huge segement of the Power systems market. If we could get even half the attendees to the IBM Technical conference that attend for AIX, we wouldn'r be in such a dire straits. There is the conference, but there is noreal group like COMMON for AIX. We can offer much to this community just as we have offered to the i community (and all the other platforms we discussed from 1960 on).
