Bob,
you running web server or FTP from this box? if not, why are you connecting
it directly to the internet? Is this a production box?

No VPN, SSL, RAS tokens etc?

Aside from hackers, it would be very easy for a disgruntled ex employee to
take the system down if you have no other security in place...
