That has nothing to do with it being in the library list...

Mr. Bates appears to be correct: I just ran a test in which I copied a physical and a couple of different logicals on that physical. The first logical, neither the source nor the target library were in the library list; the second, the source was in the library list, but the target was not.

In both cases, the copied logicals picked up the physical in the target library.
