Is there a way of preventing users from doing this kind of thing,
or at least a way of getting informed when the information gets logged?

I never tested it out, but there was some software that was supposed to
do this. I think at the time it had 400 in the name and may have been
sold by PowerTech (as a reseller for the other company, IIRC). Sadly,
I can't remember the company or the software.

OK, replying to my own post, but I was looking for something the other day and came across a CD labeled Tango/04. I think that's the software I was thinking of for this.
