Have you tried the following?
QSH CMD('rm /test/rpgs051809/H04CLMPF*')
(beware, this will delete all files that start with H04CLMPF)
For some reason, you are using two slashes in your examples. i.e. you
are specifying //test instead of /test. That seems like a strange thing
to do. Why are you doing that? You aren't confusing IFS with Windows
Networking are you?
For a QShell rename command... the unix command to rename is: mv
mv oldFilename.txt newFilename.txt
note that "mv" stands for "move". But moving a file and renaming them
are really the same thing if you think about it.
