We no longer work on a single platform. While many of us use Power systems, IBM i runs happily on a number of blades whose numbers I can never remember. While these blades use POWER6 chips, they are not considered part of the Power systems family.
I've been spending the year doing my best to remove any traces of hardware names from our courses. Not exactly the most productive use of my time, but that's a different story. "IBM i system" is what I decided to use. Given the increasing role of virtualization, this should still be valid when IBM i runs on your iPhone.
