These videos show how long XP & Vista take to boot as compared to 7200 RPM
drives. Now, we use 10K and 15K RPM drives in the Power systems but we are
also more heavily slanted towards random IO than Windows. Random IO is
where SSDs shine as they can do many times more IOPS than a spinning disk so
you should be able to see an even more drastic difference in I/O throughput.
