RCVMSG will allow you to specify the message number and the value of the variable, i.e., the number of objects not restored.

Scenario:

A CL program for automated updating is doing an FTP download of a save file, followed by a RSTOBJ MBROPT(*ALL) ALWOBJDIF(*ALL) of its contents.

Sometimes (apparently whenever there are "security or data format changes"), instead of just returning with quiet success, it throws a CPF3773, giving the number of objects restored/not restored.

This is, of course, relatively benign with an object transfer utility I wrote a few years ago, that pumps the RSTOBJ command through the FTP connection and just displays the responses to the sender's screen, or in another program that retrieves and restores an individual save file, but now I've got that being called from another program, and it's throwing a proverbial monkey wrench into the machinery.

When monitoring for this CPF3773, how do I arrange to ignore "0 not restored" cases?
