The List Save File (QSRLSAVF) API has been around for quite a while.
Not sure how far back you need to go. It's a Backup & Recovery API.
Thanks Tom; thanks Mark.
While it was the last 20 minutes of the shift by the time I finally started looking for an API corresponding to DSPSAVF, I *should* have been able to find it in the V4R2 CD (or the V2R3 hardcopy manual, for that matter.
Why a search on "save file" would turn up nothing relevant in "API Appendices" on said CD, I dunno. It *should* be in there under the "APIs by release" table. In *both* sets of API docs, since, as Mark said, it's a V2R3 API.
At any rate, thanks for the head start on tomorrow's big project of automating the care and feeding of the FTP-based automated updater I spent the past two days writing. And as I write this, I just found a canned example (always helpful when dealing with those APIs that pour their output into a *USRSPC). It's at "think400.dk"
