Hi Jerry,

I'm guessing on this one...   but it sounds to me like you have another 
DNS problem.  I'm not sure about NetServer, but there are many 
applications that need to find out the IP address of your local system. 
 They do this by:

a) retrieving the host name defined in the HOSTNAME and DMNNAME fields 
of CHGTCPDMN

b) Performing a DNS/HostTable lookup on that name.

c) Verifying that the resulting IP address matches the address of a 
network adapter on your system.

It sounds like it's performing the lookup and getting 216.8.179.24, 
whcih doesn't match any of the adapters on your system.

I think your company might need to invest some time and money in getting 
their DNS straightened out.  It sounds like it's in a bit of a disarray.
