Go with the case. There is a MONTHNAME and a DAYNAME but there isn't an
abbreviated version, nor is there an inverse. Meaning you can do
values monthname(current date)
and it will display September. But you cannot do
values month('September')
like you can do values month(current date) and get back 9.
let alone, 'Sep' versus 'September'.
