We have had a NetBotz appliance for YEARS here. I don't often connect to
it. It displays temperature, etc. Recently I noticed that my MSIE would
only generate the raw "The page cannot be found" error when I attempted to
connect to it. Coworkers MSIE wouldn't either. However his Firefox
would. So I loaded Firefox and I am impressed with the speed and that it
works. I am not one of the rabid "anti-Bill" crowd, and figured that one
should at least test with MSIE since a significant percentage of browser
users use that so I wasn't one to switch earlier.
Well, if you have a NetBotz appliance and can't seem to connect to it with
MSIE it may not be your configuration - it may be the browser. That's why
I am posting this, so let's please not clog the list with the evils of
Bill and his software. (at least not the midrange-l list).
