FYI Twinax cable makes awesome speaker wire:

 Well shielded
 Color coded for polarity
 Very tough and can't be ruined by the vacuum cleaner (the inverse 
cannot be said. :-) )
 Large enough gauge to cover most all but a subwoofer's current 
requirements.
