That'd depend on how your HA process works. I've never done it with an
IBM i, but according to what i've read so far, you could use redundant
DS8xxx with global mirror for replication, and then just boot the
identical hardware on the other side from the SAN. Of course if you
want consistent SAN replication without loss of performance, you'll
need very fast pipes.

VMware allows you to do similar stuff with Windows.
